My client had been remodeling homes for a few years but wanted to grow beyond word-of-mouth. His company, named after himself, had a cheap, generic logo—fine for friends, but not for reaching a wider audience. When developing a new name, we explored every angle. His last name, German for “perch,” sparked the perfect concept for a remodeling company: helping clients “reclaim their perch.” From there, I built Perch—a brand identity and system designed to scale, stand out, and endure for generations.
